Didn’t like that they seem to cater to smokers. There were no outdoor spaces that were non smoking. Couldn’t get away from it, even our next door neighbour was a chain smoker and we couldn’t even enjoy our balcony.

This place is paradise, along with good service, good food, activities that are interesting, and evening entertainment that is engaging. The resort is beautiful- the marble and pinks are very complementary with the lush green of the garden areas and aqua ocean. I would definitely recommend for someone considering the Caribbean.

A comida é de muita qualidade, assim como as bebidas, apesar de nós não termos experimentado muitas. O jantar Brasileiro (churrasco) é o melhor de todos. Dois pontos a melhorar: arrumar a segunda esteira da sala de ginástica e melhorar as condições da banheira do quarto. Com certeza nós voltaríamos.

Location was amazing. It looks just like it does on the website. There is nothing really around it except amazing views. Food was great. It was about a 15 minute $20 taxi ride from the town of Samana. We did the whale watch and the hotel hooked us up with the best tour. We got great pictures and videos of the humpbacks up close by boat. We flew into Santo Domingo and used Ken and SantoDomingoTaxi and they were there at the airport to greet us and took us on the 2 1/2 hour ride to Samana. They were also there on time to take us back to the airport. Their prices are in line with everything else. The patrons of the resort are older,. mostly couples (don't think I saw any single people at all) and everyone is very friendly, we met several couples and became friends and talked a lot. The beach was beautiful. The waves were huge the days we were there, and knocked off quite a few hats and sunglasses.
