I loved the quaint atmosphere and beautiful Mexican decor and artwork. The food was excellent, service was slow at times but very friendly and accommodating. The drinks were also great, rooms were well stocked. The size was perfect for us, not busy or crowded. The staff were very friendly. Highly recommend for couples. Hope to go back.

As a travel website Expedia did not share with us that this resort did not truly meet the expectations of a Zoetry resort, as this property is today managed by Zoetry, as it transitions from the Casa Del Mar resort. This being stated, after we checked in with Zoetry, I thought we were being handed off to another Zoetry employee to explain the resort amenities to us. But, as he led us to the pool, I discovered he was trying to sell us services regarding a time share. Later, after settling in, we attempted to eat in the resort restaurant. But in was filled with Globequest time share people. It not that we were being bothered to buy a time share, but throughout our entire 5 day vacation, we were surrounded by vacation time share people at the bars and restaurants all day long. This simply took this vacation we were looking forward too, and made it feel like a sales presentation, not a vacation. The people were gracious in nature, but the wait staff in the resort restaurant were so disorganized, that many days it led to our frustration. Juice would be delivered wrong, and 2 of the 2 espresso machines were in-operable, so cappuccino was not available. Then as we would wait for breakfast after 30 minutes, a waiter would approach wanting to take an order, that we gave when we sat down. Then, someone would tell us that it would be another 20-30 minutes. The bar did not have top shelf liquor if you’re looking for it. The Salt Water restaurant was a wonderful experience on the coast.

We had a stay to celebrate my husbands milestone birthday. This was an okay resort. Don't get me wrong, everyone was nice but the service was not Zoetry standard. We have stayed at multiple Zoetry resorts throughout the years and this just did not fit within the usual standards. Service was very slow, food and coffee was always cold and no one went above and beyond. We did have a great relationship with Armando at checkin stations he was wonderful. Concierge was non existent and the "butler" we were assigned was basically a ghost. Never checked in and didn't go an extra mile for any ask. Example, I purchased dinner on the beach and ask for rose petals in a bath. He needed $80 usd for the petals (this has never been asked at a Zoetry before) I didn't have the money upfront, the front didn't have an atm or money for us to charge and we couldn't use a credit card. I asked him to just draw a bath and he never did. There was just no effort made to make our time special. Requests for daily room cleaning was ignored. There were only 5 beds close together and no one manning them. Beside the 5 beds, there were zero lounge chairs by the beach so if you didn't get to a bed in time you didn't get to sit by the ocean. Just not the service we are accustom to.

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. From the numerous pools, daybeds on the beach, or our hot tub overlooking the ocean front, there was no bad view in sight. The staff goes above and beyond and made our stay so enjoyable. Special thank you to Mario and Christian at Saltwater. Their hospitality was top notch! We look forward to returning soon!

We've been to 3 Zoetry Resorts, along with a Dreams & Sunscape property too - but this one was the best so far! The location is great, the food was delicious and the bar staff was the best in the world! So relaxing, not that many people but top notch hospitality! Can't wait to go back.

2/10 Poor

We booked a king bed ocean front. We got two double beds and ocean front, and was told it would be only for one night. Never happened and one of the double beds was really comfortable, and the other was really really uncomfortable, completely different. Hard and lumpy. The staff simply just said sorry and that was it. Then continued to try and get us to do a 90 minute session every time we walked by them. Golf. Massage. Excursion. Etc. Not happy about how they treated us and never provided us another option or compensation for our poor situation. I personally had horrible sleep night after night. It really affected my entire stay.
