The Old Rectory, Shrewsbury
Wonderful place to stay with an amazing breakfast!
This was an amazing place. The staff was very friendly and the room was super nice. The bathroom had everything you needed. The best part of the stay was the wonderful breakfast! It was indeed a full English breakfast, complete with eggs, bacon, sausages mushrooms, and more. There was a side table complete with yogurt, cereal, and a variety of juices. A big pot of tea came with the meal as well. (or coffee if you wanted) All in all, it was a great place. The wifi was not so good, however.

The Old Rectory, Shrewsbury
All staff were very friendly and competent. Every request was met with a smile and we were well looked after and really enjoyed our stay over the two days and nights spent at the hotel. We would certainly return if the opportunity arises. Always appreciate being able to park off the road and the parking area was all that we needed. The hotel is a fascinating building and the setting for the hotel is very nice too.

The Old Rectory, Shrewsbury
Nice old world hotel , lovely furniture, narrow pine beds with skimpy sized duvets let it down badly , and heating was not on . Nice food , one fantastic staff member , and another one who should learn to smile occasionally.
