Tracatel hotel
Booked in a hurry, and assumed it was the same as / attached to Satellite Hotel, which is on the same street but about 200 meters up. Still have to check in Satellite though. The ground floor that I got would not be my first choice. The curtains on one window too narrow and do not block the light / view. There is however a dial to pull down built in shatters but was not aware of this facility. While vey similar to Satellite, prefer Satellite since reception available. I had to call Satellite to get batteries for remote control (which were apparently removed by previous guest!)

Nice room but what happened to the hot water?
Decent corner apartment. Very spacious. Convenient for EU Commission. Great value. Very large shower that I was really enjoying until the hot water ran out. I had to leave to go out for dinner so no time to report. Assumed that it was temporary but still no hot water in the morning. Would have given it a very good review but this rather spoiled the stay.

Mixed review
A loft room at the 5th floor. Very poor wifi connection in the upper rooms as the router is at the bottom floor. Comfortable bed and bathroom.

Very Good8.0
Good rooms in a good area.
The hotel has no lift, and to go up the room there is a narrow staircase which would be difficult to navigate if one has anything else than hand luggage. When I was there the hotel was being renovated (something which was not mentioned) and the common areas were very dirty and dusty. Also, the workers started at 0730; hardly the opportunity to sleep-in. However the person attending the front-desk was extremely helpful.
