Phenomenal experience. Definitely coming back.
We had a superb experience and would definitely stay again. The staff was very helpful, the traditional Japanese breakfast was phenomenal and the amenities rivaled that of any 4 star hotel that I've ever been in. The closest train station and convenience store are just steps away and it is only 2 stops away from the heart of Shinjuku. I already plan on staying here again the next time I'm in Tokyo. A top notch experience all the way around.

A very great stay
I don't give review to often, but in this case I really enjoyed my stay. Everything was great, don't have anything to complain. Service was excellent, the staffs were bery very polite and nice. Room was spacious, which is a difficult amenities you can get in most of hotel in Tokyo! I travelled with 2 kids under 5 years old and they have plenty room to play and crawl around. The room was clean and their main bed + tatami bed was also comfortable. Location was not on the central attraction. It was a station away from Shinjuku. We took Seibu Shinjuku line or taxi, still very convenient arrangement for us Overall we have a very great stay !!

Not what I expected, ok hotel
Getting here is a bit out of the way because you have to take a 150 yen private subway line trip from the big station to the small station each time you want to journey out or back. We got lost and arrived late (around 7pm). They offered to setup our futons for our second night but not the first night, which was confusing because where were we supposed to sleep? They did not hesitate to accommodate us when we asked at least. Coming back from our excursions the next day, they made our room in the most questionable way possible - turned on the TV, moved the remotes, turned the spout of the bathtub and put the plug in with about 2 inches of water filled, removed the floor towel but didn't give us a clean one; instead, they bunched it up and threw it on top of our hand towel. And lastly, the most horrifying part of all, we found black pellets around the table, floor and trash bin which we are pretty confident was rodent droppings, which explains the weird smell in the bedroom/bathroom areas. Regardless, we enjoyed the private onsen to the fullest and slept well the first night. The second night however we woke up to the sounds of a creature rustling around our plastic bags and a thud in the trash bin… Overall, I only recommend this hotel if you for some reason want to be away from the main attractions of Tokyo. And if you want to avoid the same troubles we had, arrive early, don't opt for the executive rooms and request a higher floor instead.
