It is with very mixed feeling I am writing this review - the location is good, the apartment (make sure to select the newly renovated superior) was nice and the service was very good and friendly, BUT... The reservation was made for 2 adults instead of 3 (mistake due to site remembering previous selection). The difference if booked correctly for 3 nights would be $10-20, depending on dates. I was charged $108!!! at the hotel. The Hotel is several adjacent buildings some with no elevator and pretty steep stairs 4-5 floors high. Once discovered we asked to move to the one with elevator. These are superior rooms. Difference in cost - $25-40 for 3 nights, depending on dates. I was charged $240!!! At the hotel. So total overcharge of $350 for something that cost $60 at the worst case. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. When I pointed this out to the reception they promised to discuss with the management. Unfortunately the management did not agree to adjust the charges. So I ended with almost a double cost.

Lisbon Colours-A great place to stay in Lisbon!
My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our trip to Lisbon, Portugal in Sept 2017. The location was outstanding, on top of the hill located in the Barrio Alto district. This was a great central location to be in and also had beautiful sweeping views of the city as it is located on top of a hill. The accommodations themselves were more than we expected. The layout can comfortably accommodate a few days or a long-term stay as it is an apartment-like layout. There is a small kitchenette, separate living area, and separate bedroom. The reception was outstanding and super helpful. My only recommendation would be to put a sign outside of the Hotel announcing its location. You would expect to see a sign and will walk right by it (several times) if looking for one. Look specifically for #44 or #46. I will also mention it is on top of a hill. Therefore, the walk into town in down a few pretty steep blocks and to get back to the hotel on foot, it is a nice walk up the same streets. Probably not for you if are uncomfortable or unable to walk easily. Great hotel- We loved it!
