Very convenient location.
This is my go to place in La Jolla. Very Professional, Friendly, and courteous staff. Walk Down the hill and you are at the beach. Also conveniently located To downtown La Jolla and Other beach towns.

Excellent location very close to beautiful beach. Very clean rooms. People at front desk are very polite and professional. Cons: No movie choices...just cable TV. TV isn't "smart" so don't expect to cast your Netflix or Prime.. If you don't care about TV, this place is really nice.

Comfortable night stay.
We only stayed one night in this motel, and we were very pleased. Our room was spacious, it had everything we needed. The AC was a bit noisy, but it did the trick on a very humid day. We liked the location, quiet area with restaurants nearby. The staff were helpful as we unexpectedly had to stay later after the check out time. The rate to do that was fair. La Jolla is such an expensive place to stay, we found this place good value for the money.

So-so
Convenient location. Room was fairly spacious (we had a disabled-accessible room, which we hadn't requested, so the bathroom was enormous) and bed was comfortable. There seemed to be a bit of sand in the sheets, which drove me nuts, but otherwise the room seemed clean. Some of the electrical outlets didn't work. Our room was on the first floor, and there was lots of noise outside. I'd never heard of a motel charging for a late check-out, and I didn't like receiving a text asking what time I would be checking out. Overall, the hotel was fine, nothing special.

Simple and Cozy
Pulling up the hotel, I thought it was the cutest little hidden gem on a corner. Check-in was smooth and quick and they send you on your way with your room number. They are there to help you if you have any questions or concerns to make your stay that much more enjoyable. The location of the hotel is perfect and away from any loud noises. The beach is a 5-10 min walk away. There’s plenty of shops and food options as well without having to go far. But even then the drive towards the other end of La Jolla is 5 minutes. I love that I got to experience a newly remodeled room. It was very clean and comfortable to stay in!!
