Good 6.0
Good hotel in a bad neighborhood.
The hotel was all right, rooms were clean, breakfast was diverse and the overall impression was good, the staff was very nice as well. However Omonia is a rough neighborhood and a completely wrong location for a hotel. I visited Athens with 3 friends so we didn't really care and made jokes of the fact that we got offered drugs at least 4 times on Omonia Square and the corner opposite of the hotel was a hotspot for prostitution. If you're planning to visit for a few days it's fine. I wouldn't recommend staying here with kids because of the obvious crime level in Omonia and the general state of the surrounding buildings.

Poor 2.0
No bueno
The room smelled odd and like cigarettes The shower curtain was hung by PVC pipe and wire. The shower curtain didn’t even hit the bottom causing a puddle. The beds looked dirty. All blankets and furniture look like they are from 1995 old and grungy. The view from the window was hookers and trash. Not a pretty site. Really rough area. Def did not leave in the evening by foot.

Poor 2.0
Itchy bed in sketchy neighborhood. I got mini hives as soon as we walked in and my throat got itchy. Keep in mind that I do not suffer from the normal spring /fall allergies. Room phone only calls to front desk so you have to go through them for everything! No Wi-Fi either. Tried to get a refund even though we decided to not stay there because it was just so uncomfortable. Pay a little more for a better location that is safe and free of bed bugs and whatever vermin is lurking around.

Fair 4.0
Close to the centre , but very noisy area
Very noisy area, very dirty streets and some strange people walking around including some women at the corner of the street ( every evening for the 5 evenings we were there). Though all the above are not in the hotel’s control, I guess it is important for people to know this. Small breakfast room and basic breakfast. Reception staff nice.

The area simply is not good
The area of the hotel is not good for a family stay, I've seen " night girls" at every corner of that street. My son found a needle under his bed. The room had a smell. One AC unit is not enough if you are sleeping on the pull out sofa outside the bed room. Not recommended.
