Cute hotel to experience Guadalajara for first time visitors. Very friendly staff, most of the historical district is 7 minutes walk.

More of a restaurant than hotel.
Very noisy room. No air conditioning. Could not sleep. Would not recommend or stay there again.

Great place, awesome location
The only bad thing was, we didn’t get the room that we paid for. So they offered free breakfast for the duration of the stay. Which I think didn’t even cover the difference but overall the stay was great.

A place to sleep + eat and close to downtown
Very good:All staff very supportive and smiling Not good: i arrived at night and the area doesn't look safe around, but the place is walking distance to downtown. I read about room dimensions but it was smaller than the description and it was dirty under the bed :s

Simply awesome
Our stay was great! From the moment we walked in until we left, we were treated like royalty. The price was excellent, the staff arranged our tour, held our luggage after we checked out. I definitely plan to stay there again when I return to visit Guadalajara. I give them 5 stars

Arty hotel in centre of old town
My husband and I arrived for a weekend visit. The room we got was overlooking the internal courtyard. The only natural light was by opening the shutters into the courtyard which meant you then lost privacy. They have a restaurant / bar in the internal courtyard and outside (which served excellent food by the way). I had a gastro issue unfortunately which meant I had to spend most of the weekend in my room. The first night there was so much noise coming from the bar (until 1am) but also construction noise which went for hours after that. Luckily I had ear plugs with me so that was all good. The next night no construction noise and the bar was much less busy. Maybe Friday nights the night! However on the upside the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. The manager who was one of the few staff who spoke English was super kind when he realised I was ill and went out of his way to do things for us. We ate all but one meal at the hotel. The hotel is on a lovely plaza and has a large outdoor bar cafe area which was most enjoyable as no traffic near. The food and staff were excellent and the drinks were great. Despite the irritation the first night I would actually go back. But I would ask for a room with an external window next time. Every room is completely different and very clever designs. Very close to the historic centre public transport and some great restaurants.
