Great Stay
If I ever return to Split, I will definitely try to stay here again. Convenient 10 minute walk to the historic district and seaside, about 15 minutes from train station and ferry terminals. Staff was great--very friendly and helpful. Very clean, modern rooms. Would def. recommend.

Great little boutique hotel
Location: great, very close to old town. It far enough away from all the hubbub. Rooms: beautifully decorated, very modern feel. We were greeted with a bottle of wine which was much appreciated and enjoyed while sitting on the balcony. Great too to find a fridge in each room. Unfortunately because the power in the room shuts off unless the room key is inserted the fridge and the ac powered off when we were out, so we came back to a warm room and warm beer. Staff: super friendly and welcoming. Only real downside is the 3 and 4 floor walk up, especially with bags.

Not a palace!
The room was very small with a massive bed that filled the space. The bed was also very high (you almost needed a ladder to get on it!) and the mattress made it hot. The air con was set to 25° and could not be adjusted, thus hot every night. We had to climb four long flights of stairs without a lift. It was also noisy with other people coming and going. Not a good experience

Don't stay here
Would not recommend this hotel at all. Upon arrival, after waiting outside to be let in, we were led to a 4th floor "reception desk" where we were informed that it was cash only. There was no elevator and we were on the 5th floor. We paid for a room with a sea view but faced the opposite direction and they don't even have triple rooms with a sea view. We were told that to pay for the room we must go to their main reception building, a 15 minute walk from the "hotel". The room was clean but that's all the good I can say. It seems more like they're renting out someone's room than a proper hotel. It was also much more expensive than what many of our friends paid closer to the water. To top it off, there was a dog show outside the window that started at midnight each night with loud music, barking and a very loud announcer which could be heard through closed windows on the 5th floor.
