Poor 2.0
Kind/helpful personnel. Old/uncomfortable hotel.
Very kind and very helpful personnel at front desk, they deserve a 5 stars. however the hotel was not in a nice area. It felt so unsafe to arrrive there and to stay there. The room were old and fekt dirty. The sheet were so old, the mattress was old and uncomfortable. everytjing was very old, from the carpet, to the windows. Felt like the hotel would need a major work done. The glass doors were so fragile, a stronger push could have opened. The bathroom was also old but clean, although it smelled like bleach. I felt very unsafe. I had to leave the next day. Overall Prague felt unsafe.

Good 6.0
Cozy but a little out of the way
Like most of the hotel, you share the kitchen, toilet & shower with another private bedroom so think of it as a 2-bed apartment. I am a usual solo traveler who travels light and likes to stay close to the main station or city centre but I found this place this place out of the way. You can always take the tram but you have to know exactly which tram to take. Also, not many know that you have to pay a tram fare for your luggage. Nevertheless, it took me a good 25 min walk from the train station. The map was deceiving because you can only exit from one side of the station then navigate through an underpass and drag your luggage uphill on mostly cobblestones. Not the most easiest place to get to and would recommend a taxi/tram if you're a solo female traveler checking in at night as the area is fairly dimly-lit. Even if you did take a tram or taxi, you're still at least a half-hour walk from all the touristy areas. You are next to a Tesco Express so this can be handy. Breakfast is average with standard cold selections.

Very Good 8.0
A decent, welcoming accomodation
We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Prokopka. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, the breakfast good, the room clean. It is a 30 minutes walk away from the Old Town Square in Prague, quite accessible. You have to share your bathroom and shower with another room, but that was not problem at all. You also have a kitchen like space with a water boiler, a sink and a functional fridge. Comfortable for a low price!
