It was great. Locality excellent. However we did not have wifi from our room as it was a bit far from where the rooters were.

Run down, dilapidated, overrated!
We stayed here under all inclusive option based on the good reviews. First time we've been burned so hard by reviews. Reviews mentioned good hotel, great food. More like decent, outdated hotel with below average food. Peeling paint, chipped tiles, stained carpet, pieced together updates over the decades, and disappointment at every turn. Should have known when they handed us an old metal key on a huge plastic keychain during check-in. Apparently popular with the middle aged to elderly Brit set, we were treated to lots of low class f-bomb laced conversations about football or brexit at every meal. All inclusive = very limited drink selection after being told it included all but name-brands at check-in. "Activities" included single stained billiard table with 1 broken stick and a beat up table tennis set with destroyed paddles - all in the bar. Laughable "shows" by the entertainment staff. We had about a 14 minute walk from our room to the lobby for food/drink as the hotel is laid out horizontally. Trash all over the beach/rock area on hotel grounds. Poor bedding and even the teens woke up sore. Our tiny balcony (with chipped paint rails) view was blocked by a huge tree for some odd reason. We left after the first night of 3 and got a better hotel. Staff offered to give us a connecting room for free, but that was just more of the same, so no thanks. See pics! Might be just ok in summer, but avoid in off-season.

The hotel is way past it's best and is closing in October 2019. It feels like a lot of the staff have given up caring. Would unfortunately not recommend.

Excellent food and great service if not excellent with very approachable staff and very clean. But unfortunately hotel's condition is deteriorating particularly bathrooms and beds. Definitely needs a magical refurbishment.
