Hotel Midori, Cusco
Pretty lousy option for Cusco
This hotel is more out of the way than it seems as it is on an elevated side-street. No biggie. The main issue was the shower, that was simply terrible. A cold drizzle of water, even after several minutes of waiting. Really not what you need after a day of excursions and activities. Other than that, its just a run of the mill backpacker hostel. Utilitarian and little else.

Convenient location, helpful staff
The lobby and patio area of this hotel are beautiful, and the breakfast was very nice. The room was clean but a bit worn. Carpet could use replacement. Staff was friendly and helpful. We left luggage at the hotel prior to trekking. Despite our not yet having stayed at the hotel, they were friendly about storing it, and when we checked in we found they already had delivered it to our room in anticipation of our arrival.
