Cheep cheerful
This was cheep cheerful stay food really nice and breakfast very nice. Damp in room due to age property. Bet lovely place to stop in summer with walks down river. We was in room 2 very squeaky bed.

1 night stay
The staff that checked us in were helpful and arranged a camp bed for the room. Thank you. However, the boiler was not working and there was no TV as no arial was plugged into the tv that worked. It was difficult to checkout the next morning as the door was locked at the bottom of the stairwell and had to wait almost 15 minutes until it was opened. The lady was not particularly pleasant and we were put off bu wanting to have breakfast as the restaursnt seemed unhygienic as well as an unpleasant odour.

8/10 Very Good

Initially there was a mix-up between and the hotel as after booking through the former, I rang the hotel on the day before and we were not registered. Fortunately, they managed to fit us in. The room was fairly clean and very quiet. The staff were very helpful and polite. We had a meal on the evening of our stay and, although the food was very good, the service was slow. Overall, I felt the price was a little expensive at £100 with breakfast.

2/10 Poor

Hotel at Morpeth, Choppington was booked months ago for 3 people, 2adults one child. After travelling from South Wales (9hrs) arrived to find room wasn't ready! Lots of fussing about moving people around then 'don't think we've got another duvet). The whole pub plus staff looked grubby and the rooms shown had a very unclean smell. Needless to say we did not stay!! Very poor show indeed!!!
