35th wedding anniversary
Not worth the hotel rate, room is so small for couple to move around, no place for luggage, no pillow, bed are tiny , what a waste to spend my 35th wedding anniversary on a lousy hotel.

Service was accommodating and good at front desk however laundry services which were important to me were a bit constrained as compared to a normal hotel. Same day service shuts for clothes commital at 9am and there is no Sunday service. I was moving between hotels daily without an ability to have laundry done and chose APA for multiple day stay for laundry. I had a business meeting and dinner in Shinjuku Friday night awoke at 9:05 and made my way down to front desk because phone dialing to desk is impossible to figure out... at 9:15am my window for same day laundry was closed. I needed them to request a refund and check quickly by 11am to find another hotel with Sunday service. APA front desk staff were nice enough to accommodate me with this need. I feel while I had a client in Shinjuku Station area, I was not familiar enough with area to understand noise and bar scene there - dominant. I’m now however informed and would consider another APA hotel just not this hotel and I would need to maintain better awareness of laundry service constraints so as to adjust my plans to allow this to work for me. Service staff were professional accommodating and very helpful. Rooms are small but as one expects in Japan and at this price point.

The Worst WiFi I Have Encountered In 20 Years
This place has the worst WiFi I have used in the last 15 years. In 2018 in Tokyo of all places and this place has WiFi that doesn't work 50 percent of the time and the other 50 percent of the time it loads web pages so slowly that it's like you are connected to a coal powered router. I'm talking about facebook messages and emails failing to send kind of slow. You literally wouldn't be able to load a Youtube video on it. I spoke with the manager last night about it. I felt a little cheated that I paid for a room that claimed to have WiFi only to have no internet access at all last night. I wasn't offered a partial refund or anything, however, the manager kindly wrote a note for my employer saying that the internet here doesn't work sometimes so they know why I haven't been able to respond to emails. Either way, don't advertise (and charge people) for a room with WiFi if your hotel is actually the only remaining place in Tokyo without it. Everything else about the hotel was fine, but it's 2018, even the trains here have WiFi but this place doesn't. I'd recommend staying somewhere else.

Absolutely Amazing and would Highly Recommend!
It was incredible. Even though the room was small according to American standards, (which we expected) it was by far the most impressive stay we have ever had. They went out of their way to make sure we always had what we needed and we had ample toiletries and coffee supplies in our room. The location was STUPENDOUS!!! It was located in Shinjuku, in a quiet little corner but still in the heart of everything! It was VERY convenient to countless restaurants, the Golden Gai district and a few parks which were perfect for our daughter. We honesty couldn’t have asked for a better stay, a better staff, a better location or a better experience. (We also had a great view!)
