    Mediocre, Maybe
The room was mediocre at best. Clean, but everything was garage sale quality. Very outdated amenities and furnishings. The window panels on our patio door were wide enough and left small gaps so outsiders could peek in if they were inclined to do so. Bare minimum toiletries for guest. Old towels. The parking lot was badly needing repair and repaving.

Was a wonderful place, staff was great; very helpful. The only not so great was our supper Saturday night, food could have been better. Walleye, salmon dip, and enchiladas were not the best

Don't ruin your money or joy by going there
Lack of professionalism. Customer is always wrong attitude. We saw much worse stories of people around us who were cancelling their reservation when they arrived. A couple with their kids were planning to use the pool on their Memorial weekend holiday and it wasn't working. The front desk lady told them they can go to the lake nearby and she could send them a beachball. They wanted to cancel their reservation. Don't waste your time.

The staff and accomodations were great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have a bar/restaurant within the lodge too. I enjoyed the location of the lodge with a beautiful view of the water across the street and easy access to downtown (walking or driving) and the highway to travel to Door County. One negative was lack of an elevator for getting to the 2nd floor level. There was a microwave and a refrigerator with a freezer on the top for use in the room - a definite plus! The balcony and patio doors were also a nice perk to enjoy nature right outside your room.

    Great place to relax!
The buildings in surrounding area (porch view) could use some paint/updating, but the hotel itself was maintained well.
