8/10 Very good

Lovely time in Porto Cristo
Friendly staff, very welcoming and kind, but over the week we noticed they seemed to be short of staff especially in the restaurant/bar areas. We only had breakfast one day during our stay - good amount of options to choose from but again lack of staff around to deal with issues such as there were no knives to eat with.
Comfortable room with most of the amenities required. We had a harbour view which was beautiful. On arrival our patio doors did not lock, we had to chase this up on a couple of occasions although it was fixed the following day. When the room was cleaned it was done to a high standard and towels/toiletries replaced as needed. The housekeeping didn’t come until late one night after 6pm and I was showering so the room was not cleaned this day although not a huge deal, if this happened more often it would have been an issue. There was only one small bin in the bathroom and the door to the room seemed to let a lot of noise in and the curtains let a lot of light through.
Pool area was nice with plenty of sun beds. Bar didn’t always seem to be staffed. You also had to pay 20 euros to use the rooftop beds and pool for one day which was not advertised anywhere.
Good location, 5 mins walk to harbour or 10 mins to beach. Supermarket/shops and a couple of cafes across the road. Can also catch buses outside or at the caves. Hotel is up a bit of a hill or stairs if walking.
Overall our stay at the hotel was good! I think just a few teething issues.
