The Gonzo Inn was recomended to us from a co-worker. We were very pleased, nice place. We upgraded to a king suite, it was nice to have the extra space for 5 nights. It was nice to have the access to the parking lot through the back patio for loading and unloading gear each day. All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Walking distance to the main strip with restaurants and shops. We would definatley stay there again!
Only stayed one night passing through Moab. The young man at the desk when we arrived was very helpful and friendly. Our first room was not ok - smelled pretty terrible - BUT we were changed immediately to a very nice room that was very clean/smelled fine. I think there was just some unusual issue with the first room. I appreciated their changing us immediately, and to a very comfortable room. It was extremely clean which, during COVID, I'm sure will make people happy. No breakfast in the facility, but we were given vouchers for restaurants that were very close. Location was great in terms of being right in the middle of town. Super convenient.
We stayed in room 118. Passed the laundry room and housekeeping to get to our room. Windows were water-spattered and streaked. Living room was dark and rather dingy. Air conditioners blew hot air onto patio area where we wanted to sit for evening wine. Patio had a rusted corrugated sheet of metal separating it from parking lot. Kitchen light over sink had loose connection and didn’t light for several minutes after switched on. Keurig coffee maker also had some issue with connection. Finally got a cup of coffee after 2 tries. Paint on shower floor was flaking off. Towels and bedding were clean, bed was comfortable. We were given coupons for breakfast that we used at Moab Diner for a great hashbrowns & eggs. That was best part of the stay. We expected more from a room that cost over $200 total. Online photos appeared fun and quirky, but our room was hugely disappointing.
This place is wonderful! The staff was super helpful as I continuously locked myself out of my room!
A quirky surprise of a hotel. Condo-like homey room, staff accommodating and friendly. Easy walk to town.
Super cool property in an amazing location backing green space, trees, grass! I would have given 10/10 rating if we hadn't had an AC unit that was working on and off and been told, "well I don't have anyone to check that tonight.." Sunday night. Guys, it's the AC UNIT in the desert of Utah! You need someone 24/7 available. I loved the vibe and would actually come right back.
The hotel was off the main street so, very quiet. Bed was nice and comfy. Shower was fantastic as it was very roomy. Vouchers were provided to area restaurants since they were unable to serve due to Covid restrictions. I would definitely stay again.
Nice, unique. Not a corporate feel. Quiet and in a good spot in town.
