Won’t stay again
Our room was very clean, bed was very comfortable. Only valet parking is available at (I think)$35/day with unlimited in and outs. The elevators smelled really bad. We had very noisy neighbors that woke us up at 4:45am. We could tell it was two females by their voices when they were screaming. We called the desk and they sent security up. They were still screaming at 5:15 so they sent security again. Still at 6:45 along with things hitting the wall. We went down and talked to management and she was very, very nice and apologetic and offered to move us. I asked if they could be moved instead and she said no because it was two 13 year old kids that were with a very large group and they get really wound up after being at the space center-almost like making an excuse for them which upset us. She also said they were there for several weeks. She said there was one adult with them on that floor. We were wondering if that is even legal. The refrigerator in the room we were moved to did not work so our food spoiled. We will probably stay else where next time even though our bed was comfortable and the staff was very friendly.

This is a VERY nice hotel! The staff was friendly. Overall my stay was good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My #1 complaint would be parking. The only option the hotel gives is $34 a day valet parking. The valet system is HORRIBLE!!! The wait is excessive and they seem lost, cars are backed up it was just a mess. There should be an option for paid self parking at a lower rate which still allows you to come and go and they can still have the valet option. I found out you can park overnight at the galleria for way less. The food is a bit pricey in the hotel such as $10 for plain oatmeal. Finally my bill. I checked my account on my second day and saw 3 separate charges from the hotel. I was told this was due to the overnight cycles when the books close out and because it was a weekend. Sounded a bit strange to me being I have NEVER seen this before at any hotel and 2 of those charges were on the same day. Next I was made to book the wednesday before I arrived even after I verified it would be okay for me to check in at 2am on Thursday morning. I was advised this would guarantee I'd have a room. Joy offered upgrading me to a different room to help remedy my issue for an additional charge to me. There shouldn't have been any additional charges or fees for something that was never my fault now that would have been superior customer service!

Great hotel; food & bar service needs work.
Hotel itself is great - very new; large & comfortable rooms, and very quiet. No outside noise at all. Hallways very clean; fast elevators, no waiting, prompt valet parkers. The downside: Bar / restaurant service. Had 3 breakfasts there; all three times it took multiple requests to get milk for coffee / tea. Evenings, at the bar, service was very slow. Part of that can be written off because it was games 6 & 7 of the World Series, however the bar was understaffed. Even when you got attention of a server, their attitude was, in a word, NEUTRAL. No "welcome back" - no smiles - no buyback round - no greeting. This is unfortunate because the food is really good, but just a service staff in need of more training.

I had a good time on the property. Only complaint is Expedia mentioned nothing about having to pay $39 dollars per day for parking. The manager, can't think of her name really pretty lady with braids, comped us vouchers for free breakfast which was so delicious by the way to make up for the parking. We did not get to utilize the pool that Saturday because there was a wedding party who has a private event in the pool area. Our room overlooked the pool and it was impossible to get any rest because the music from said party was soooo loud. So, we ended up just leaving and returning late at night. Also, my card was charged three different amounts. I am still waiting for it to hit my bank which should probably be there by Friday. We didn't have enough towels, called downstairs and towels were delivered in less than 5 minutes. Our shower head would not stay up. Notified the front desk and before we could even get back to the room, someone was there to fix it. Saturday, we returned at almost 6 pm for a nap and our room still hadn't been cleaned. Notified the front desk and waited, My boyfriend saw someone cleaning another room and told her, she came right over and cleaned the room without a problem. We ended up talking to her for a while. Really nice lady who loves her job. Ana was her name from Honduras. So sweet, we made sure we gave her a nice tip. She should be promoted. A lot of people complained about the valet but no problems here. I'd definitely stay again!

Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Lady at check in was very nice. Room was spacious and clean with lots of towels. My room wasn’t ready to check in until after 5:00 pm. I got charged for water bottles that were never in the room since I first checked in. Room comes with 2 water bottles if I use them they charge me $3 per bottle. I bought water from the Walgreens on the corner instead but was charged for taking bottles that were never even there. I should have called front desk right away when I noticed that bottles were never there since I first checked in. When house keeping came to clean our room they didn’t leave extra coffee cups, they left the same 2 glass cups that we had already used instead of 2 clean cups. Gentlemen working night shift were engaged in conversation and when we approached them to ask them a question they were not very polite. Valet crew was very helpful. Person working cafe was grabbing food and then taking money from customers without wearing gloves or washing their hands after touching money. Not sure if that’s allowed but didn’t seem right. I stayed 4 nights for business trip and didn’t have time to speak up about all these little things. Hotel is beautiful and comfortable and a great local area, will not take that away but service wasn’t the best. I was expecting better service for the price and hotel.
