Lovey Stay
Ash Hill was by far the coolest place we stayed in during our trip to Ireland. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely people and gave told us all about the history of Ash Hill upon our arrival. The grounds around Ash Hill were stunning, so much so that we decided to stick around for the day on the property instead of exploring Limerick. The breakfast were really good, a nice traditional Irish breakfast, including fresh squeezed orange juice! Honestly the stay could not have been any better. I would suggest it to all my friends!

Ash Hill Stunning elegance
Amazing grounds, stunning furniture, history and beauty galore. Nicole and Simon were wonderful hosts. Exploring the grounds and city were easy and very enjoyable! I want to return here again!

Country charm
Stately manor house -- work in progress with luxurious linens on a beautiful four-poster bed. Delicious cooked-to-order full Irish breakfast! Comfortable; good internet service in common area. A bit tricky to locate-no signs posted.

Wouldn't rate as a 4
We were disappointed with our stay at Ash Hill. We only book accommodations rated 4+ by travellers and we wouldn't consider Ash Hill to be rated 4. The room was tired and musty smelling and there was no hot water. We informed the hosts of the water situation after our first night but it wasn't rectified by our second morning. Luckily we found another shower to use. While it was interesting to stay in an old, former castle, I caution other travellers to expect a renovation in progress stay.
