Barony House
The hotel was a beautiful old restored house. There wasn’t a lot of storage space in the room for belongings, and the en-suite was cosy. A good shower. Good breakfast, The hosts were very friendly, and helpful about things to do in the area.

Welcoming, comfortable and amazing breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay at Barony house, lovely family feeling B and B they were really welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfast was amazing, and was above and beyond what was expected - including home made bread. :) Only downside was no parking, had to park on street, which was fine just not expected from the description when booking. Overall lovely hotel and will definitely stay again if in the Edinburgh area.

Nice room, quiet location on Southside of Edinburgh with short ride to downtown (wish figured out the buses because parking in downtown is a real problem). Excellent breakfast, Susan's homemade bread was the centerpiece of my meal, alwasy some nice freshly made muffins or other food in the foyer. The best part of Barony House is Paul and Susan, we will stay here again for sure.

All around amazing!
This hotel is amazingly presented, with gorgeous decor and spacious rooms. The location is great with ample public transport into the city centre which is just a hop away. Breakfast is delicious with a great selection. The best thing about the hotel by far is Paul and Susan, they are a lovely down to earth couple who make you instantly feel welcome. Will definitely be back!
