What an amazing experience Ken and Angel provided for our first days of marriage surpassing our greatest expectations. From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble, and they went to great lengths ensuring we had everything we desired. These perfect hosts have created beautiful surroundings as a base from which they then launched the most delicious culinary experience on our taste buds. Every morsel eaten was a joy. Breakfasts of eggs Benedict with perfectly poached eggs and piquant hollandaise; the lightest of quiches; a tart gushing with the flavors of their home-grown herb marinated tomatoes; the crisp sugary crust of the crème brulee; a tremendous two cheese soufflé; a dinner of Coq au Vin with such depth and layers of taste which became an emotional experience. We savored every mouthful, unconscious sounds of satisfaction signaling our gastronomic gratification; and throughout Ken and Angel delivered the whole encounter with such incredible warmth and genuine pleasure in our happiness. Poggio Amorelli is a wondrous experience which will be remain in our memories, and also our future.

We definitely enjoyed our stay at the charming B&B. Ken and Angel were divine hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with them both. We will for certain return when in Canton. I highly recommend you to stay and dine in with your hosts.

Amiamo Poggio Amorelli (We love Poggio Amorelli)
If you are looking for a place to simply sleep there are plenty of hotels around but if you are looking for an experience you MUST stay here. Chef Angel and Ken are two of the most genuine, kind and thoughtful inn keepers you will ever meet. Poggio Amorelli is a 1 bedroom B&B in a historic family home decorated with family heirlooms. Your space includes a nice sized bedroom and bathroom, sitting area with fireplace, kitchenette with microwave, mini-fridge and keurig and a 4 season room at the front of the house. Chef will spoil you with cuisine that is to die for - she is humble but her credentials speak for her having worked in Europe in a Michelin rated restaurant and was a competitor on Top Chef. I am a foodie so I appreciate good food. Best of all we were greeted like old friends coming for a visit vs. Customers. Ken has great stories of the family home, traveling and living abroad. Poggio Amorelli is one special place with two very special owners. We have stayed in many B&B's across the country but have never been treated so warmly. I think the best way to sum up our visit is to quote my wife, "next time we have to stay 2 nights because there wasn't enough time with Chef Angel and Ken." This means more than the reader can understand as my wife is a quiet introvert who tends to need time to feel comfortable around new people. There is no doubt my wife and i will return. Stay at Poggio Amorelli and ask for a cooking lesson - you will not regret it.

What a wonderful bed and breakfast! !! this was our first experience at a b&b. I loved it!! Ken and Angel were awesome. The food was amazing. Angel made us a beautiful anniversary cake. it was amazing. we will be back!!!

a hall of fame worthy experience
Situated in the heart of pro football hall of fame country, this B and B pairs local rustic charm with a Ritz-Carlton-level of customer service. Guests have access to the front half of a renovated turn of the 20th century house. We enjoyed sitting out on the enclosed front porch or better still retiring to the small comfortable couch in front of a cozy wood-burning fireplace that is but one half of the guest sweet entirely separate from the bedroom. The bedroom is just off of this room and separated by a very efficient sliding door of the original era. The king-sized bed and pillows are as comfortable as any I have ever had on the road and rival (dare I say surpass) that of home. All that being said pales in comparison to a) the hospitality of the two proprieters Ken and Angela) who extend to you every courtesy to make your stay special and b) the food prepared by the professionally trained chef (who also happens to be co-owner Angela). Freshly made breakfasts to order as well as home-baked treats like painted frosting cookies and chocolates capped a great 2-night stay with our hosts whom we now are happy to call friends.

My stay with my husband was so wonderful. Ken and Angel were excellent hosts. Angel really makes the most delicious food. I recommend this b&b it is super! I didn't want to leave. It will be one experience I won't forget.
