On of our favorite places
I love this place. This was our second stay at Angler's Inn, and was just as good as I remembered. The room was very clean with all the comforts of home. The kitchenette has every thing that you need. The rooms all have a screened in back porch and a dock. Matlacha is fun funky little town and the Angler's Inn fits right in.

Nice place
I really like this place. It's right on the canal, kids can catch hardheads and gafftops til their arms get tired. It's not easy access to any beaches, so if that is your priority, you probably want to stay down south somewhere. Otherwise, the cabin was clean, comfortable and the internet even worked. No stove, but if you're curious you can find an electric grill down under one of the kitchen counters (I found it as we were leaving, otherwise I'd have had grilled hardhead for supper). Price was very reasonable.

A diamond in disguise
The place was cute and quaint but definitely not a long term place. There was one small trash can in the room and no where to put that once it was full. The bathroom has no a/c, the beds were stiff, and the place seemed to lean towards the water. But honestly, we would stay there again. The dock was rugged, the chairs we rickety, and the screen lanai only half the string lights worked... but it was like a perfect little getaway location for the weekend. We took the boat up and stayed friday-Sunday. The local area was packed with art galleries and just local artsy stuff. We really enjoyed just the general atmosphere and quaintness.
