Nice place and safe to stay!
Nice hotel and will defo use again. Rooms are dated and the tv in room 11 is ridiculously small. Shower water pressure is poor. Temperature sporadic. Food is great and bar/restaurant area is lovely. Staff are really great. Requires modernisation and investment. Why have an empty vending machine on the 1st floor?

Leapark Hotel revisited
Second time we have stayed here. Location is convenient for visiting relatives in nearby Polmont. Our bathoom didn't have any hot water but the shower and everything else were fine. my wife thought the decor was a "bit tired" but the bed and facilities were good. A working fridge in particular was a useful amenity. The breakfast was excellent apart from the rather cheap white bread provided which I recall commenting on after our first stay!

Rude staff - even the night porter agrees
The receptionist was the worst ever no smiles nothing, it was her job was an annoyance. The room was freezing, no heating and packed full of furniture from the 70s. Later in the evening when I asked for a taxi the receptionist (a different one this time, Stephanie I think it was) told me it would be 20mins, I asked if there are any other taxi companies available and she told me 'phone yourself if you think you can get it any quicker'. After that I decided to take the taxi back to Glasgow (£80) and didn't stay there

Good Hotel well suited for visitor attractions
We really enjoyed our stay; the Hotel is ideally situated for visits to the Kelpies, Falkirk Wheel & canals, Roman Antonine Wall (parts of) and Stirling castle. Our room had a fantastic en-suite facility and looked brand new, though there was no electric shaving point. Our only small quibble was that the breakfast fruit selection was lacking in variety. Apart from that no complaints at all.

pleasant stay- issues with ensuite bathroom safety
room was comfortable. My main quibble is with bathroom. it was at lower level, with warnign sign about step. Cord pull switch within the bathroom. This meant that at night, you had to negotiate the step in the dark before you could access the switch. Or lean forward to grope for cord in dark. Not so good. Bathroom floor was slippery. Warning sign over washbasin to say "Floor slippery when wet". implying that safety hazard was recognised by establishment. Obviously the floor of a bathroom with a shower and a jacuzzi in it will get wet at some stage. Why not use a non slip flooring? Shower mixer either very hot or very cold. hot to the extent of producing scald. Definitely not usable. Had to use shower over the non functioning jacuzzi. So in essence, bathroom had definite safety, health hazard issues associated with it.
