We had a voucher for a free stay that we were not able to use. The advertised 24 hour schuttle was not available for our early depature. We asked the staff to book a large taxi for four. A car came and charged each couple $25 euros for a 5 minute ride. The staff must be aware of this scam and did nothing. We left too early for any sort of breakfast. The restaurant was not open. The staff said there was no restaurtant in the area, which was not true. The TV in our room did not work and there was no internet. Not a happy experience.

The reason for the terrible rating is that when we make our booking the Golden Tulip had 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. As it is now a Holiday Inn Express it only has airport shuttle service starting at 6 am.....as we had a 6am flight we had to hire a taxi which cost us 25 Euros for a 4 minute drive. Outrageous. Had either Expedia or Holiday Inn Express contacted us earlier we would have cancelled our reservation.....which is probably why they did not. Unconscionable. So, either Expedia or HIG owes us 25 euros for taxi fare or we will never return to either site for our travel needs. Over to you both....to see if there is any kind of a customer care response....which I doubt there will be.....but if there is I will return to change my rating and my comment.
