Great choice
The hotel is located near dining it is a short drive to major attractions. When I stepped off the elevator that lobby area needs vacuuming so it made me think the rooms wouldn't be clean but to my surprise everything was very clean, the rooms are standard, staff was kind and professional. The area was safe.

Not ready on time!
This is the 3rd time we have stayed in this hotel because we liked it and wanted to give them another chance - but not anymore! It is the 3rd time that our handicap accessible room was not ready at least one hour beyond the check in time. It is very upsetting when you call ahead, make arrangements, plan your trip based on check in time and prepare your handicapped spouse for a 6 hour trip and then have to wait because that one room isn't ready! If you are not in need of a handicap accessible room, it is fine - just not for us anymore!

Nice hotel with a couple quirks
We were in DC for a 5 night family trip. This hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. A couple quirks - they only clean your room every 5 days - we stay in many hotels and this seemed excessive since Covid restrictions are basically in the past in the hotel industry and they also just have microwaved breakfast sandwiches, packaged pre-made waffles and cold cereal etc. assumedly due to Covid as well but, again, Covid is basically in the past in the hotel industry - all of the hotels we have stayed at in the last few months have gone back to normal service. So the hotel is clean and the staff is friendly but the room cleaning service should go back to daily and the breakfast should go back to fresh food such as hot eggs and sausage and the waffle maker you see at so many of the hotel breakfast areas, etc. These were not deal breakers and we would stay here again. We enjoy the Marriott chain in all its different forms.

The property was clean. There are not many amenities and you have to schedule pool time which is somewhat inconvenient. However, the staff was was nice and check-in was a breeze. The hotel is located close to various restaurants and discount stores for supplies. Breakfast was available for free which helps tremendously if you are traveling with small children so you don't have the hassle of waking them up so early to go out to grab food. I would stay again.

For forty years I’ve had daily room service consisting of new towels, bedding, trash emptied. We were there three nights and none of this occurred. I had to call the front desk to get the trash emptied. No signage or notification that it was every five days. None.
