This hostel was okay but hostel's aren't for me!
So I've never stayed at a hostel and after this trip I wouldn't stay at one again. It has to do with the hostel and the guests. There isn't any way to secure your luggage. Your stuff is at the mercy of your roommates. Fortunately I didn't have any issues but I think this hostel advertised lockers when all it was was if you wanted to lock something expensive up you can keep it in the office. This wasn't as advertised and I'm not too pleased. The guests are messy, dirty and unfriendly! People leave their items everywhere as if they are at home! They don't flush the toilet, they don't clean out the sink, they leave hair everywhere....just disgusting! Someone literally left their contacts without a case on the side of the sink! The hostel doesn't clean the bathroom every day. They say they do but the toilet isn't cleaned which is very important to me. I specifically asked if the bathroom would be cleaned only to come back to the same stained toilet. Thank goodness I only shower and leave or else I wouldn't be happy. Fortunately you can get in and out of the hotel pretty easy. It's right next to the bus stop which is perfect since Toronto is transit friendly. They allow you to leave your luggage which is awesome. The beds are really uncomfortable. It's almost like sleeping on the floor! I have a whole new appreciation for hotel beds. They only give you one dry off towel. Fortunately I didn't see a bug anywhere!

Good 6.0
Decent
Small rooms, no bathroom in the room (there were shared bathroom outside of the actual room). Personally found that a bit uncomfortable, but it was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Became quite noisy at times, the rooms seem to have very thin walls; quiet hours were not particularly "quiet". Overall, was a decent stay for only one night. Any longer stay than a night or 2 I would not recommend.
