Taiwanese Boutique Hotel with techy updates
I am a Taiwanese-American, and I grew up in Texas. I have stayed at the nastiest roach motels in border towns of Mexico, to high end luxury hotels in Tokyo/NYC/DC/Vegas. My review comes from that type of background. I really enjoyed this stay, the location is just outstanding. I had a room for 3, view of Taipei 101, a full and twin-sized bed with just enough space to walk around. My brother set up a small single backpacking air mattress by the window and the 3 of us fit. We are about 5’6” tall, 140-160 lbs and I felt like we fit just right. Typical Taiwanese hotel room, not american sized. They have average mattresses, no pillow top and lacking support compared to 5-star places. Bathroom has those awesome asian toilet seats with built in heaters and bidets. Shower was great, mirror is antifog amd amenities are all provided. Buffet was super awesome amd delicious, they cook great Taiwanese food as well as great scrambled eggs (hard to find). I admire these hard working ladies, they work the buffet in the morning and the front desk at night. They reserved a big van for us: 4 people and 6 big suitcases, 2 carryon spinners and 4 backpacks. We kept our luggage there until 6 pm and they provided amazing service all week for us. While we were visiting our relatives we also explored all around. We took the BRT and Subways, easily walking to those to access Taipei 101 quickly. We visited XiMenDing, ate at the original DinTaiFung and perused a variety of small shops and places to eat.

Excellent stay
The hotel and its staff are incredible. The room is very clean and keep up very well. Staffs are polite and helpful, and they always smiled when greeting. I particularly like their breakfast as it has both Taiwanese and Western food. The porridge tasted great and the eggs are super yum. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Great Location!
Very unassuming hotel, but it's close to the Dongmen MRT station, along with YongKang Street (all the foods!), and Dongmen market. Super convenient and gets the job done. Complimentary breakfast during your stay between 7-10am that has toast, eggs, congee, coffee, tea, milk, soy, juice, and various rotating hot Chinese foods. I've had free breakfasts before and this is one of the better ones that I actually would make it to. Front Desk is helpful if you have any needs or questions. If you need an extra room key also, just ask.

Very Good8.0
Convenient and contemporary and great breakfast...
I booked the single room, a very small room, but, more than adequate for my need. Room had very nice modern decor and a great bathroom. No closet, just a hanging rack mounted on the wall, but, again met my needs. And it was nice having a window with city views. The desk staff were very helpful and polite and always available. And the breakfast buffet was mostly Asian/Taiwanese- which was what I wanted!!! The hot dishes featured new items every morning and instead of huge pans, the dishes were constantly being "refreshed"- great stir fry.

Good location and friendly staff
This hotel is < 5 minutes from the MRT station, on the red line, which makes it super convenient to get around Taipei. The hotel is in good condition and clean. The room size was decent and comes with all the usual amenities. The staff speak some English and really helpful and friendly. It was really convenient to have washer/dryer available on the roof. The price is really reasonable for the location/quality! Will definitely consider staying here again next time we visit Taipei.
