Relaxed and inviting
The charm of this hotel is the modern renovation in a historical atmosphere. The hotel is comfortable,relaxed, and secure. The personable staff is well versed in English and ready to assist with all needs. The included breakfast is chef prepared, to menu order, restaurant style, and served by a cheery, professional team of four. Bottled water and counter prepared coffee drinks are readily available 24/7. The location is one block from a long pedestrian stroll along shops and street vendors; also close to the main avenue, many historical features, and easy public transportation to other attractions of the city. Can't say enough positive...great stay!

Oasis in the middle of the Chaos.
Historico Central is a little oasis is in the middle of the chaos of the Central Historico! They offer breakfast, waters and food at the little coffee shop downstairs. The rooms are clean and comfortable. You are minutes away from The Zócalo. Tons of shopping and places to visit along the way. It is safe. The hotel is closed at night and you have to show them your key card to enter but we were fine with that. It is also only a 10 minute uber ride to Roma Norte!

Great stay. Outstanding service, every staff member was very friendly and helpful. Very clean room. Cafe was great and really enjoyed drinks and sandwiches.

Almost perfect
Ninety percent of the employees were more than excellent. There was one girl in the 24 hour bar and one man in the restaurant who kept it from being perfect. For me the lobby was dark although I know they are trying to set a mood.
