Very Good 8.0
Location, ambiance, amenities, not a budget hotel
Firstly would like to note that the location of the hotel is optimal. I was able to walk to several good restaurants and bars/breweries (even though the hotel itself contains 3 of it's own drinking and dining options). I was placed in the Lilac room on the 6th floor nearest the elevator which resulted in the room being quite noisy. It didn't bother me much, but that's just me. The view was nice, shower decently roomie, bed wasn't the most comfortable but the sheets were wonderful. The dented mini fridge in the corner was tacky, but it was nice to have. I've stayed in much nicer more modern hotel rooms for around the price or less compared to the Landmark, but remember this is a vintage hotel...I received several emails from the landmark reminding me of my reservation and thanking me for my stay. Something you don't always see with chain hotels. Overall I'd say the staff and overall ambiance are what make the hotel what it is. Everyone I talked to was courteous and very helpful. I believe anyone staying in mqt should stay here at least one night.

Exceptional 10.0
Landmark Inn a must in Marquette.
We were greeted and checked in efficiently and welcoming. Loved the “antique” furnishings and decor. The room was terribly comfortable and spacious. Loved the refurbished bathroom—so clean and spacious without bathtub. Loved a walk in shower. Everyone was gracious and friendly—dinner on the top floor and breakfast in the lobby restaurant. Drinks and dinner perfect; breakfast a bit sketchy—food excellent, service not so much. Waited way too long for food and then extra wait for English muffin after food delivered? But overall loved our experience.

Lovely Landmark Inn
Lovely charming property. Staff was friendly, helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. My room was spacious, clean and well laid out. View could have been better but not bad.
