Exceptional 10.0
OK people. Remember that this is a hostel, not a hotel. Pluses: you are surrounded by active, intelligent and creative people of all ages and from all over the world. The ambience is one of shared adventure, but also respecting each other's space. How fun would it be to go on a bike tour of Boston with a group of people for $10 (the cost of the bike rental)? MInuses: bunk beds and shared, very basic bathrooms are not for everyone. If you don't mind that, you are golden. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very Good 8.0
Overall good place to stay. Comfortable bed, clean rooms, private individual bathrooms with showers. My only complaint would be the noise. I would recommend grabbing the ear plugs they supply at front desk. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Good 6.0
Great location for a small budget.
The location is nice and it is a good option for a solo traveler on a budget. However, you get what you pay! It was my first time staying at a hostel, and based on reviews I was prepared for a shared space. However some of the front staff needs to be trained on customer service, there was no effort to make customer feel comfortable. I stayed in 4 bed female room, it was big enough but it got very cold at night and I was cold even after getting another blanket from the front desk. The bathroom was available whenever I needed to use it and I liked how they were not shared bathrooms. I was not so impressed with the cleanliness though. Overall, if you are looking for a place to just crash at night regardless of other amenities then this is the place for you. I would not recommend it for families or a business traveler who is looking for some comfort after a long day!

Awesome hostel
Clean and comfortable. The bunks were very comfortable. They kept the place as clean as possible. Some guests were messy. Only problem is that it’s impossible to close the doors quietly so impossible to sleep in the morning. Otherwise a perfect stay in a perfect location. I’ll be back.
