It would have been nice to know that there is a 100 dollar deposit on top of the hotel cost when checking in. The shower head had a really bad leak that was spraing back into the wall. This is what was causing the mold at the bottom of the wall next to the tub. The safety lock was cut as well.

Lobby bathroom had an out of order sign when we arrived. I thought breakfast was shown as offered but the room was closed that morning. Lady at check in was very friendly. Room was small but clean and AC worked very well which is sometimes an issue at hotels.

First of all, this was a motel (even though I specified HOTELS in my search criteria!), and I had to park several feet away from my door. There was a lot of noise going on around the property, so that was disturbing. My room—although labeled as “non-smoking” smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The patrons upstairs were smoking, so I’m sure it penetrated the ceiling & walls. Loud talking, disruptive noises, sirens, and other distractions made me feel unsafe for the evening’s stay. I moved furniture to block the door, because of my concerns. I also thought their $100 incidental charge hold was quite steep. Of course, it was taken off, but I’ve stayed at much nicer places that did not charge this much! This is not what I expected from a place that had good reviews overall. One positive: the girl working at check-in was quite pleasant & answered my questions kindly.
