Whitby visit.
Extremely friendly couple who made you feel part of their household. I intend to go back, probably with my wife, later in the year.

Glenora Guest House Takes No 1 Spot!
I stayed in a massive twin room with full size en suite bathroom at Glenora with my teenage son. Everything you could want in a room was there, large tv screen, armchairs, wardrobe, dressing table. Kettle with tea, biscuits and water etc replenished daily. Lovely towels, shower gel and shampoo also provided. The room was immaculate and the beds very comfy. Breakfast: cereal and or fruit followed by full English or several other options. The breakfast service was fast and everything arrived at the table piping hot. Sandra was very friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming. Glenora itself is on quite a busy road, but we were not disturbed by any road noise despite being at the front of the house. The guest house is within easy walking distance of shops, eateries and the sea! The views from the Abbey are beautiful. Eden Camp, an old POW camp, is well worth a visit and we enjoyed a wander round York too. I've stayed in many B&Bs over the years and have to say that Glenora Guest House takes the number one spot, I just can't fault it. Wonderful service, fantastic room and Sandra is so friendly. Perfect - would thoroughly recommend.
