100%. My new pick for AMS
Nice choice. The hotel is new and high tech, the bed is comfortable, one of the bests I've slept in recently. The staff is super attentive, got upgraded for my first night and after I forgot some belongings in the room, the customer service to retrieve them was on point. Was only staying for a night so didn't have time to check the restaurant/bar on the 1st floor that seemed pretty nice. My new official stay while in Amsterdam. For those who know the city, it's a really convenient location, easy metro access that can take you anywhere. Question is if you rather stay in a spacious and comfortable room and spend 5 min in metro to go downtown or stay in central in usually a cramped room for sometimes a ridiculous value-for-money.

One way or another
It's our first time visiting Amsterdam. After hours of research we decided to book QO. There're some unhappy incidents as following. 1) Incorrect Rate: I didn't sign in before booking. This effected the rate. Hotels.com did NOT fix it. 2) Incorrect Bed Type: QO did NOT set our room bed type, when booking via hotels.com. We booked One King Size Bed, but were given Two Double Beds. I had to pay an upgrade 50 Euro per night for six nights to Deluxe Room myself to fix this mistake caused by QO and Hotels.com. And the process was NOT easy. It took us 30+ mins insisting them to fix it. 3) Parking Surcharge/Manager Attitude: We parked rental car 1 night but got charged 4 nights instead. It took us another 30+ mins to fix it. The front desk lady was great. But the manager showed the attitude/pride by stating his name/title, cold apology, firm handshake, and bridging the error to small system mistake. Overall, the hotel itself is great, new building, reasonably clean, good looking, but lacks of some thoughtfulness, e.g. entire room is controlled by a slippery iPad, which is cool but quite inconvenient if you only like to control room light/ac or on/off/sleep/volume tv. There's no window can be opened so it can get stuffy. One/last line as summary, QO could work well, one way or another if there were more heart in it.

Clean, safe, & comfy!
Very clean & tidy, bright hotel set in safe & pleasant neighborhood. You can take a walk along the water just a short distance away to find more places to eat. The cafe and restaurant in th hotel also serv exceent food (especially dinner). There’s a rooftop garden where they grow their own veggies (but we were not able to view as it was too early in the season.) Also has second bar on upper level. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Thanks Antonio for the tips on places to go & answering all our questions on other travel! Beds SUPER comfy. Layout of our room was a bit odd. But overall a great stay! Definitely would book again w/out hesitation.

This is a beautiful, well-appointed hotel in an out of the way spot in Amsterdam that actually adds to its charm. It is directly across the road from public transportation and is a quick ride into Amsterdam. The food is excellent and the service prompt. I would absolutely recommend QO and stay there on any future trips to Amsterdam.
