Good stay, shame about the lift
The hotel was fine, a good average 3 star. We arrived to be told that the lift was broken and our room was on the top floor. The lift remained broken all of our 3 night stay. Room was hot and pleased there was a portable fan in the room. Good base for exploring from as near Paddington and the Central line. Nice quiet room, beds were comfortable

Location, Location, Location
Amazing location, within 5 mins walk of all transport links. Building and entrance amazing as you arrive. There are parts that are a little tired and could do with refurb. The lift and surrounding areas being an example. Our room had creaky floors, but part of the charm of this hotel is it's character and age of the building(s). Just found it amusing and not an issue. It is exactly as it is described on their website, independent, with loads of character, therefore some anomalies and Yes the bathroon suite is avocado green!! Would definitely stay again.
