Day sleeper review
The owner was very helpful and extremely accommodating We had missed our train from Florence the night before we were to check out. They gave us as much time as we needed to leave. The room itself was ok and needed improvement. The television wasn't working properly and in the bathroom the ceiling needed to be repaired. The breakfast consists of several wrapped (not fresh) breakfast items that you have to prepare yourself in your room with a provided toaster and cappuccino maker (a plus) More importantly, the air conditioning was barely existent The other problem is the photo of the building. It is not in the best area. The building is covered in grafetti and is right next to the train tracks. We did advise the owner of these problems upon leaving. Hopefully he will repair these issues

B&B located close to the major metro stations in R
Had a hiccup at the time of check in since we arrived earlier than the stated check in time. I had emailed the owner Francesco prior to our arrival about coming in early. He had mentioned that he would be there to welcome us but when we arrived there, it turned out that he would only let us drop our bags at the lobby and we had to wait until the actual check in time. I had just finished a 9 hour flight to get there so this was frustrating. Otherwise, Francesco was a gracious host and gave us a lot of good tips about what to see and how to get there. The B&B is also conveniently located to the major metro stations. The room was well maintained and clean. Breakfast consisted of an assortment of goodies - bread, croissants, spreads, cheeses etc. inside our room which were refilled everyday. The neighborhood was a little run down though. The room and hotel get 4 stars but the neighborhood kind of forces me to bringdown the rating a notch to 3.

I'd love to stay again!
Great service, lovely accomodation and stay. The only downside was the flaking paintwork around the ceiling but minus that everything was perfect.
