Holiday Inn Express Krabi Ao Nang Beach, Krabi

We had the best time here. The hotel was great. The breakfast was the best hotel food we've had. The location was fantastic; not too crowded, great food and shopping, lots of excursions to choose from, night market about a 5 minute walk, and right across the street from the beach.

Great location, lovely grounds and pool. Not enough sun loungers. Staff very friendly and helpful Great to have a drying rack for swimwear on the balcony Close to a nice eatery area with many Thai and Indian options, with juice and cocktail places too, 2 min walk.

We stayed for 5 nights, so plenty of time to get a feel for the place. Over all it was a great place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is fine. If you like Asian breakfast or pastries, you're definitely set. They did have an egg option every day and chicken sausage (the common kind found in Asia). They have 4 pillows on a king size bed, so that's fine but they are not firm enough. That was the only negative regarding the bed. The towels were fine, but some of them were definitely well used. This wasn't a problem for us, but if you're picky about that sort of thing, there you go. I suppose you could just ask for extra towels and use the new ones because they seem to have plenty. The patios do not have any furniture other than a clothes drying rack. So, sitting on the patio isn't expected. You could bring the wooden chair from inside out to the patio, but that's the only option. We had no difficulty with the WiFi. The 2 bottles of water a day is great and the room has a mini-fridge with a 7-11 a short walk away for cheaper drinks. The location is wonderful. You just walk across the street to the beach. There's plenty of eateries and it's a short walk to the busier area. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed the hotel and location and extended our stay there. It was across the street from the beach: food stalls were in front front of the hotel; there were many restaurants, markets, bars, and a couple of ATMs nearby. Tour companies picked us up at our hotel. Great live music nearby. Pool was large enough to swim laps in. Breakfast buffet had many options of both Thai and western food items.
