Centara Azure Hotel Pattaya, Pattaya

This was my 6th trip to Thailand. This hotel stay was, by far, the worst experience ever in Thailand. One reason we chose this hotel was due to its water slides for our kids. The hotel had 4 slides. Upon our arrival, we saw one was closed. We were told "engineering" would work on it next month. During our first day in the pool, the water was cutoff on 1 of the other slides. The next day the slide was functional again. In our first room, the room safe didn't work, the AC was uncontrollable, and the lights wouldn't turn off when we wanted to go to bed. Additionally, 1 of the robes had a very noticeable hole in it. We changed rooms after 11:00 PM. The safe in the new room didn't work either. AC still didn't respond to control either. Shower door didn't shut all the way. Hot water put leaked terrible. Individual staff members were responsive and courteous, but management did not value us as guests. Despite numerous requests to speak with the manager, it never happened. We were delegated to the assistant. Aside from an apology, nothing was offered for the repeated inconveniences. My sister-in-law, who is Thai, told me that she saw many similar complaints from Thais on Thai websites. If you're considering staying here, you should also know that there are residences at the locations. This can create issues. For instance, residents smoking on their balconies leads to guests breathing secondhand smoke. Having had many good hotel experiences in Thailand, I know you can do better!

Was a great place and the A/C blew out ice cold!

Nice hotel and good area but not impressed with the shower and sink being in the main bedroom area and the toilet being only seperate. Room was small compared to others I’ve stayed in and took forever to get the room cleaned after leaving the make up room light on for over 3 hours at times. Hotel is also part of a condo complex for use of the pool. Wouldn’t stay again due to the shower arrangement.

Overall, it was a good stay. Everything worked, the staff was great, and while they do seem to have a fair number of package tourists, I didn't have any trouble with checking-in or out, and there wasn't any trouble with noise. A/C was stuck on FREEZE, and they only have twin beds in the rooms. (They tie them together with sheets, so that's not great...) That said, I thought my room was comfortable and the location worked for me.

Really nice high end hotel /condos easy location to walk to pretty much anywhere
