a week long stay
#1 the biggest issue was the seat at the desk which was coming apart and getting all over the room, the carpets were filthy and the service spotty. Location was nice and I can see that when they finish the "refurbishing" it might be a lot nicer too! But on-going construction contributed to a lower rating.

Good and the bad if best western
The hotel was very nice and appeared to be under construction. I asked for the newly updated rooms with a refrigerator for ADA medication. We checked in pretty late and left to go to cache Creek for shows so we really didn’t get to experience our room until the next morning. The air conditioning worked very well so that room was ice cold but if you needed to use the shower the shower did not work I personally let it run the first time like 10-15 minutes and the actual supervisor said let it run for 20 the weekend supervisor Reneay tried to move me to 3 different rooms each room had the same problem and the 4 room was outdated and smell like cigarettes I just chose to remain in my first room cause I was tired and was ready for my moms party we were late for dealing w the room situation the staff gave me a card and promised me a discount rate for the water and the refrigerator spoiling my medicine and food

Filthy
The room was dirty with stained carpets and chairs, chunks of food or something clinging to some walls, mildew trapped under the no-slip bathmat, and mildew on the face of the showerhead. The coffeemaker had standing water in it. I cleaned it. In the morning, I found out why it had standing water; if I put one cup of water in, only 2/3 came out and the remainder stayed in the reservoir bubbling. At least the sheets and towels were clean. This was all a shock because we stayed there a couple of months ago and the room was very nice. The front desk person told me in the morning it was in poor condition because their in the process of remodeling. Maybe they should not put guests in the worst rooms until they are cleaned up and not looking so shabby.
