Lovely Surprise
The staff here is so friendly and helpful that you forget it may not be a five star place, but you are treated like you are at one. Location could not be better, and the balcony with rocking chairs were the highlight of the whole place, especially in the mornings. Highly recommend!!!

Fantastic Hotel
This charming Inn is located in a perfect spot in the heart of Lahaina! The historical so the rooms are a little rustic but extremely comfortable. The porch with the rocking chairs is such a nice touch. But the service is one of the best I have seen in a hotel. We will be back. We both loved staying at the Pioneer Inn. You will need to be able to walk up a flight of stairs. We are in our 70’s and had no problem.

Good stay
A great stay, staff are super friendly. The bar shuts at 5 most days and breakfast at $24 is steep. The rooms are dates, but if is an historical building, the a/c was very noisy and had to be turned off at nights, there is a van in the room though and i couldn't find a safe.

Great location! But Ewwww!
The location of this hotel cannot be beat! The area is amazing and the walk factor incredible. The rooms are small but charming, and the balcony is lovely, with lots of opportunity to people watch, and listen to live music. However…this was the dirtiest hotel room we have ever been in, with a cringe factor of 10/10. My husband and I travel for work and spend 100 nights a year in hotels and I can tell you that in the last 7 years, we have never had a dirtier bathroom. Hair, literal dirt on the walls and baseboards, stains in the tub, and the bottom of the toilet was gross. I assure you, the bathroom at Walmart in Maui is cleaner. So unfortunate that such a charming place is so bad based on something that is easily remedied.
