Charming!
A cut way above a chain hotel. Such an interesting place, with antiques everywhere. I was realy made to feel that I was a "guest". Unfortunately, I had to leave before the complimentary breakfast was available, so was unable to enjoy that. Local old west charm in Cripple Creek is over the top too. Will definitely recommend to others and plan to return next time I am in that part of Colorado

I loved this place! It is so full of history. This is the perfect place for someone who is a history nerd and has a love for medicine. This used to be a hospital in Cripple Creek. Also, when you go see the massage therapist, she is AMAZING!

Excellent find
We were thrilled to find this gem on our short trip. The staff was very helpful and encouraged up to explore the entire place. Finding out that it was built in 1901 and served as a hospital for many years only added to the experience.

Hidden gem
Hotels.com said this hotel was 20 miles from Colorado springs. It is actually 50 and had I known this, I would not have booked it. I am so glad I didn't know. This place is amazing. The rooms are beautiful. The views are gorgeous. And the locals are some of the nicest people I have ever met. This is a gold Rush town, so if you stay there they have a museum, and a mine, that you can tour. There is also a casino in town. And, if you stay there, you must go to Maggie's restaurant. They have good food and the best apple pie ever. It was worth the extra 30 miles.

Can't wait to go back
When we arrive we were greeted and given an awesome background to the historic so this building. The staff was warm and kind and Incredibly helpful. The breakfast in the morning was amazing there was many selections and the biscuits and gravy were to die for. The rooms were very clean and well-appointed. We definitely can't wait to come back again and we'll stay much longer than we did this trip
