Hotel Tiba was a great choice for me. The staff at the reception is friendly, very helpful, and speak English well. The room is in excellent shape although the view from the window was into a back alley. The location is top, right next to the medina and Boulevard Habib Bourguiba.

It is just a hotel to stay for one night. The staff is very friendly and helpful, this is the best part of this hotel. For the rest, I have mixed feelings. Breakfast was OK, not exceptional but not terrible either.

Prior to Hotel Tiba, I stayed at 5 star hotels in Tunis. But Hotel Tiba was the only hotel that provided the MOST helpful information for touring Tunis thanks to the receptionist working upon my afternoon check-in. I believe his name was Abdellah, but I may have heard him incorrectly. Not only was he helpful, but he was very kind, The security guard was also very kind and helpful with the door. Breakfast was good; had probably the best cappuccino every at this hotel. Room was a bit dated and the bathroom toilet seat wasn't cleaned properly upon check in. Housekeeping definitely needs to be re-trained. There were hairs all over the sead and the cover of the toilet. Unacceptable. Nonetheless, the rest of my stay was good. Probably should update the exterior of the hotel and make it less daunting of an appearance from outside. The street it's on isn't very attractive, but perhaps they could help make it look nice by remodeling the hotel? But again, special shout out to the man that checked me in. 10 out of 10 on his service. Thank you.
