Exceptional
Nice and clean hotel with walking distance from Hongqiao airport. Everything that you need for comfort stay, english speaking staff, adorable welcome drink: tea with some traditional chinese herbs. Next door there is a great cafe with Chinese food!

Nice overnight hotel acrosss from Termernal 1
We got a bit shocked that the receptionist didn’t honor the “max of 3 people” as advertised on the hotel.com site/app (and I showed the app to him). So we needed to book one more room right there. It’s fine if they don’t allow more that 2 people per room but just don’t false advertise it.

Very close to airport, subway, and rail station. Quick check in, quiet room. Restaurant only serves breakfast at this time.

Major advantages: right next to SHA Terminal 1, and to Shanghai metro ststion making both the airport and the city accessible. Disadvantage: dismal surroundings. No restaurant choices.
