Less than appealing
Great location but room was less than appealing. Bathroom had a lot of what looked to be mold and if it wasn't mold it was just plain unsightly. One Kitchen cupboard was almost falling off. Bed was very uncomfortable compared to most hotels I stay at.

What a great place. A really great room, on the smaller side, but excellent nonetheless, in a classic Melbourne house. Great location, near CBD and local restaurants. Great value!

Not great
Great if you like walking up steep stairs and the shower was not as good as I expected

Fab location
Absolutely incredible location, best place to stay in Melbourne. Really enjoyed the local cafes and restaurants on lygon street and only a short walk from the centre of town. Unfortunately the drunk guests also staying in the same place trying to bash down the front door in the middle of the night slightly spoiled what would have been a restful night however that was just unlucky timing.

Old world charm
As an old terrace house, it had lots of charm. The room though small was adequate. Contact with the owner was by phone when the TV didn't work and she was unable to fix the problem due to the wrong instructions being left for it's operation. A small amount of mould in the shower was a disappointment. Take heed of the warning about a narrow entrance to the off street parking. It requires careful manoeuvring to avoid a scrapped panel.
