Good hotel at a great price. Nice breakfast buffet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Construction site across the road which didn’t bother me as shut down in the evening but if you need to sleep during the daytime, you’ll need good earplugs!

Underrated Small Hotel Near Marienplatz
This small hotel is very welcoming. While the outside signage isn't easy to spot, you'll feel at ease and at home as soon as you enter. The front desk staff are very friendly and super helpful. They are always smiling and greet you on every interaction. The room we had (111) was an average size that could have used a few more areas for luggage storage and a couple more hooks on the walls for jackets would have been helpful, but the room was clean, the beds comfortable, the water hot. We had a few of the back parking lot which had a motion sensor spotlight. That was annoying all night, but the curtains helped. There is a very small bar next to reception and a breakfast area next to that. There is also an automatic coffee machine featuring various hot drinks. The hallways were clean and there was no trash visible inside or outside the hotel. Being near the main station made transportation easy. Especially when we were dragging two suitcases. There is shopping within a few blocks and Marienplatz is less than 15 minutes walking (along flat streets). Overall this is one of the nicest hotels we stayed at while in Germany just based on how comfortable we felt each day. Everything else was just an added bonus.
