Good value motel.
Old fashioned motel but clean. TV reception was poor. Convenient location. Take your own shampoo and soap. Smallest bars of soap I ever saw and the shampoo is the size of a ketchup packet.

Simple, comfortable stay.
This is a simple old-time facility that was quiet, clean and comfortable and economical. It has all the room amenities that most places have nowadays. Bathroom is updated with nice shower, and the room is spacious. If you prefer an outdoor entrance to your room instead of shared inside hallway (which I do), that's what you'll find here. If the weather is nice, there are chairs to sit outside in front of your room. Recommended if you don't need something new or fancy.

Nice motel in Baraboo, WI
Everything was good except for the musty smell in our room. If you have a reservation you would think they would open up the room some hours prior to our arrival.

Do Not Stay Here
The room was dirty and smelled awful. The door didn't even fully seal properly. I did not feel safe in this hotel and didn't end up staying the night.

Tourist location, but not tourist prices.
Good price, good location, had everything I needed. Small flaws: their bars of soap were so thin that you could not rub them across the washcloth. And the little packets of shampoo were sealed so tightly that it was not possible to open them w. wet, soapy hands. And the family that runs it are very nice and helpful people, but their accent is quite hard to understand.

Road trip - quick stop
I booked one night lodging as I was passing thru enroute to Michigan. Upon check-in I was put in the farthest back corner of the motel. The room is set away from the parking so carrying my belonging to the corner room was interesting. Since I was alone I was rather uncomfortable being set away from other humans.
The room itself was mediocre at best. The trash from the occupants before me was left on the bathroom sink - apparently the cleaning folks forgot to take it out of the room. The bolt lock on the door wouldn't work, so I pushed a table in front of the door for added security (since I was all by myself in the back of the hotel).
There was no hot water. Bed was not the best and the pillows were worse.
But it was a great rate and worked for my 7 hour stay.
