Stayed here for 2 nights in August 2019 with my daughter, sister and newphew. As Phi Phi doesn’t have vehicles, the hotel is a good 15-20 minute walk from the pier. We had to get a local to call the hotel as the porter with the luggage trolley didn’t turn up, even though we had confirmation they would be there. We stayed in the bungalows, mostly for the cost, but it was very average and smaller than it looks in the pictures. Would be fine if you aren’t fussy and are looking for something cheap. Breakfast was alright, cereal toast and cooked eggs or pancakes.

    Poor 2.0
Everything is wrong with this hotel
I dont think i have ever written such a poor review in my life. First off, its name is sea view, but there is no sea view. The breakfast is close to horrible, they are trying to save money and waste, so they prepare a "meal size" for you, 2 eggs, any style, 2 pieces of bread, and some fruit, the lack of commitment just screams, dont come for breakfast, we want to save money. You have to tell the people in the reception if you want the room made up on a day by day basis, and the cleaning staff start at 2 pm, it being rather big facility, we never got it cleaned until 5 pm, meaning that we are almost always in the room as they come to clean it. Again, savings and savings, hoping you will choose to not have it cleaned. A day they were cleaning they did not fill up the soap and shampoo dispensers, so the next day we told them to fill up on soap, when we got our room back after sitting outside at 5 pm waiting for it to be done we see that they took the instruction very literally, and just filled up on soap, leaving the shampoo dispenser right next to it as empty as it was before they came. again saving. The pool does not have a cooling system, so its nauseatingly as hot as air temperature. AND, its way overpriced It could be a rather nice hotel, were it not for all these very stingy and annoying ways to by-pass normal conveniences. The staff in the reception is a redeeming quality, as they are very helpful and accommodating. We would never choose this hotel again

Cheaper Cost Hotel in Phi Phi
We picked this hotel as it was one of the cheaper options in Phi Phi. In my opinion it is very overpriced (we got a much nicer hotel in Ao Nang for cheaper) but then again everything in Phi Phi is that way! It is about a 15-20min walk from the Pier - so when you arrive we suggest hiring a man with a trundler that pulls your luggage for you. Also, google maps is of no use in directing you the correct way so just ask locals! The grounds are massive and there are lots of grassy areas and the pool is lovely with lots of loungers for sunbathing. The room itself was decent in size (we stayed in a standard room) and seemed clean at first glance. Throughout our stay we did notice uncleanliness - like dust bunnies under the curtains and mould/grime around the bathroom sink ledge and under the toilet seat. Wasn't bad enough for us to complain though. There were a lot of mosquitoes so come prepared - the hotel did come and spray our room and leave a plug in spray when we complained though, which was nice! Have informed Expedia of this: the check out time listed on here stated 12 noon but at the hotel it is actually 11am. Consequently, we ran into a few issues upon check out. The first hotel staff member I spoke to was very unaccommodating about this, however, the second lady was a lot more understanding. I understand that it is not the hotel's fault but I was a little put off at how quickly the first lady got rude towards me. All in all, and okay stay!

    Average with bad plumbing!
Check in was quick. Make sure you have 1000 baht cash as they want as key deposit and wont accept card. Wasn't an issue for us. Got to the room but it was not ready. They said half hour until it would be ready. I asked for another room. Room was full of mosquitos...we killed about 25 and got sick so told reception. They quickly sprayed the room when we were out and demolished them all. They provided plugs as the surrounding area is rife with them. We got bitten a few times so couldn't open the patio doors which was a shame. The plumbing was terrible. Our toilet would not flush properly so had to use toilet in reception area. Shower was one temperature, cold! Not ideal really which made the stay a bit uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean but bathrooms need a good scrub, lots of mould and mildew in the shower. It is quite a walk to the hotel from the pier, if I was to come to Phi Phi again I would stay closer to the pier. We chose this hotel on price mainly but next time I would spend a bit more. You dont get alot for your money in Phi phi unfortunately. The surrounding area is a bit untidy and smelly but the island itself is beautiful and has some amazing stuff to go and see. Overall an average stay.

On expensive side = average stay
We stayed here for one night after walking by it while staying at another hotel. We decided to stay one more night so booked with them. Checking took a long time. At one point 5 staff were helping us because they could not find the booking. We were checked in at 1200 pm which was great. Room was clean and comfortable. There was a bad smell coming from the toilet but found that this a quite common in my Asia travels. Tv had only two English channels. One thing I really didn’t like was the bedding. It was flannel sheet and comforter. Because there was no sheet between the bed and comforter I wonder if they wash this every time? I’m guessing no because it was quite thick. Other than that the stay was in the expensive side for what you got.
