Great overall stay. It was a nice get away weekend. Hotel was clean and quiet while we where their. Not many people in the hotel. The room had a nice corner view of the square. Staff got anything we needed. Didn't have any issues.

Perfect basecamp for Texas history outings
This hotel was a lovely and comfortable base for our Texas history adventures in Gonzales and surrounding areas, including a tour of Shiner brewery. The attached Italian restaurant is great, and there are other walkable places to eat and drink.

The BEST in comfort and service
From check in until my departure, my stay was amazing! The most friendly and customer-oriented and available front desk staff I have ever found! There was not a detail out of place and the room and bed were extremely comfortable and clean. I can’t wait to be able to return!

I liked the fact that it was older but nice. It was also conveniently located for my stay. However, The Wireless network connectivity was terrible and unusable, the rooms AC unit was out so a Window unit had been installed. It wasn't quite by any means. Wasn't sure why there were two remotes for the TV and didn't like the factr there was no guide channel.
