Exceptional
This hotel was in a perfect location for downtown tourist spots and T access, and the staff could not have been more helpful in planning activities and making local recommendations. The rooms are a little small, but it was clean and comfortable and nicely updated. Great value for the location and location!

Go for it! You’ll be glad you did!
I thought it was every bit on par with a Four Seasons, Intercontinental etc. at 1/3 the price. My comment, go to the Hotel restaurant early. It’s obviously very popular. By the time you realize that, the nearby restaurants are also at capacity and you’ll end up getting junk at McDonalds. Wish I had found the room service menu earlier as it looked fantastic. The staff is so beyond helpful in a truly genuine way. Location is not perfect for anything but really great for everything in Downtown, Backbay, etc. I left my laptop charger in the car and the valet brought it to my room. I needed change to tip the valet, and the manager recognized that I had already checked in and called me out of the line to make change. These are really bright people, empathic people performing the kind of service that made you always wondered why others never could. And they do it without pretense. Like you best friend was helping you out!

Very Good
The good, the Bad and the Ugly (no ugly, movie
Loved the blue lights at night in bathroom. Adjusted to requiring room key in elevator.,.BTW, one elevator states: “Key must be used after hours”, not 24/7 Was surprised taxes and hotel use fee added nearly $60 a day I expected maybe the usual $20-$30 taxes. Why if I’m paying about $300 a day is there a use fee!
