Hotel Vellir has cozy rooms, staffs were helpful and friendly especially the supervisor in the breakfast area. Parking is free and open so easy to drive away and arrive anytime. Unfortunately this is not in the center or reykjavik but if you rent a car, reykjavik is just a shirt drive. Overall, we had a nice stay in this hotel.
